KTV Tubular Valves for Level Gauges

KENCO Flat Glass Gauges are used where direct visual observation of process fluids is required. These gauges are suitable for a wide range of applications with pressures up to 4000psig at 100°F, and temperatures up to 750°F at 2300psig. KENCO gauges are available in a wide variety of construction materials, connections and other options to meet most specifications.

Application

The KENCO Tubular Valve (KTV), when used with a KENCO Safeguard Level Gauge or KENCO EPG Level Gauge, provides maximum operator safety and environmental protection from a potential gauge glass failure. The KTV is designed for service in low to medium pressure applications up to 500 psig.

Features
  • The 1/8″ thick O-ring provides for easy installation of the glass and requires less wrenching of the packing nut to seal
  • Positive O-ring seal gauge glass connection
  • 1/2″ OR 3/4″ MNPT rigid vessel connections
  • Ball check shut off
  • Inline vent and drain connections
  • Straight pattern design
  • Braided PTFE stem packing
  • Flanged vessel connections available
  • All valves are supplied with 316 S.S. valve stems, ball checks and valve stem packing washer
  • The bodies are precision investment castings with each body pressure tested to assure quality
