he Shand & Jurs 94065 FRP Series Manhole Cover is designed to provide emergency venting and vacuum relief of low-pressure storage tanks and vessels. These covers also provide quick, easy access for tank inspection and maintenance. When the tank is exposed to abnormal internal pressure or vacuum beyond the capability of the conservation vent, the manhole protects the tank against costly rupture.
The Shand & Jurs 94065 FRP Series Manhole Cover provides an effective vapor-tight seal until pressure or vacuum relief is required to protect the tank. Under emergency flame conditions, the cover opens fully to allow escape of vapors and prevents damage to the tank. Under vacuum conditions, the spring-loaded vacuum vent will open to relieve excessive negative pressure.

Fast Inspection, Easy Maintenance
Unit’s rugged and lightweight design provides for easy, convenient handling for installation, inspection and maintenance. The pressure cover is normally restrained to allow automatic reseating and to protect the vacuum vent mechanism. Disconnection of the retaining cords allows the pressure vent cover to be completely removed, thereby allowing access into the tank through the full diameter seat opening. Facilitates tank inspection and repair procedures.
Maintains Accurate Pressure/Vacuum Settings
Factory tested prior to shipment to meet Shand & Jurs high standards. Standard pressure setting of ¾ oz/in² on all models. Standard vacuum relief setting is ½ oz/in². Higher settings are also available.

The Shand & Jurs Model 95210 Clamping Manhole Cover is designed as an economical solution that provides ready access to product storage tanks by means of an easily opened hinged cover.
The design of the model 95210 employs a threaded clamping handle along with a flexible seal, affording a tight seal between the pallet and the corrosion resistant seat. This feature minimizes vapor leakage and provides for a water tight seal.
The design is also spark resistant when specified with bronze, brass or stainless steel clamping hardware. Specify ATEX option.
For tank gauging, access or examination, the entire hinged cover may be lifted open in a matter of seconds offering clear passage through the unobstructed opening.
All sizes have flat face, drilled flanges. An undrilled flange version and other special construction types are also available.

The Shand & Jurs 95004 Gauge Hatch is designed to provide easy access to storage tanks for gauging product level or temperature and product sampling. Available in a 3 inch model only, it is spark-proof and designed for screw mounting to a threaded tank nozzle.
The 95004 features a foot opening cover, which provides for padlocking cover to gauge body. Special cover design, prevents tampering when cover is in locked position.
